Once you've received your acceptance email and/or letter, the next stage of the enrollment process includes completing any outstanding admission requirements.

You may register for classes once proof of a standard high school diploma and placement test requirements have been met so you'll want to take care of those steps right away as you work through any additional requirements outlined in your acceptance letter.

Use the information in the accordion below to get more details about each step in the process of completing your admission requirements, including details about clearing a hold that impacts your ability to register for courses.

High School Transcript Requirement

A final, official High School transcript indicating date of graduation, GED庐 transcript or Homeschool Graduation Affidavit is required for registration into college courses. Ask your Florida public high school to send your transcript electronically using the National Student Clearinghouse FASTER system when possible. Transcripts may also be mailed from your school to your intended 麻豆视频 campus.

If your school is unable to send documents electronically or by mail, transcripts may be emailed directly from the school to the 麻豆视频 Admissions office at admissions@easternflorida.edu.

Official transcripts will not be accepted in the Student Document Dropbox in your my麻豆视频 Student Portal. Transcripts from U.S. territories must be in English or Spanish. An authorized translation must accompany a transcript that is not in English or Spanish.

麻豆视频 will accept proof of standard high school diploma to allow you to register for your initial term. You must submit your final, official transcript before you can register for the next term.

Acceptable proofs of standard high school diploma:

  • Original or copy of high school diploma with graduation date
  • Unofficial high school transcript indicating standard high school diploma
  • Official/unofficial regionally accredited college transcript with college-credit course work completed
  • Original or copy of college diploma from a regionally accredited institution

Please note: Financial Aid will not be awarded until the official high school transcript is received and evaluated.

College Transcript(s) Requirement

Submission of all final, official, non-麻豆视频 college transcript(s) indicating the coursework taken and the degree(s) awarded is required. A transcript with courses in progress is not considered a final transcript. Official college transcripts will not be accepted in the Student Document Dropbox in your my麻豆视频 Student Portal.

Please request all final, official transcripts from regionally accredited colleges be sent to the 麻豆视频 Office of the Registrar. Whenever possible, sending transcripts electronically is preferred and faster: please request that they be sent to registrar@easternflorida.edu

Please have all paper college transcripts mailed to the Office of the Registrar, 1519 Clearlake Rd, Cocoa, Florida 32922.

Students with international transcripts from outside the U.S. are required to obtain a course-by-course evaluation from an approved company. Review the International Transcript Info site for more details.

Meet with an academic advisor if you need to use your unofficial transcript as proof of a prerequisite(s) to register for your initial term. Once an official transcript is received and evaluated by 麻豆视频, your coursework will be transferred and you may register online.

Please note: Financial Aid will not be awarded until all U.S. regionally accredited official transcript(s) are received and evaluated, and you must submit all official transcript(s) before you can register for the next term.

Placement Test Requirement

To clear the Placement Test requirement, you must to do one of the following:

鈥 If you have ACT, SAT, PERT or CPT/FELPT scores that are less than two years old from term of enrollment, request an official copy of the scores be sent to an 麻豆视频 admission office. If you bring your SAT or ACT login and password to the Admissions Office, one of our specialists can help you download your official placement scores.

鈥 If you entered 9th grade in a Florida public school in the 2003-2004 school year or later AND graduated from a Florida public high school with a standard high school diploma contact Admissions to determine if you are eligible for exemption from testing.

鈥 If you are serving as an active duty member of any branch of the United States Armed Services you may be eligible for exemption from testing; please contact the Military and Veteran鈥檚 Service Center to explore that option.

鈥 If you completed a college-level math or Composition 1 course at a regionally accredited U.S. College with a grade of 鈥淐鈥 or higher it will fulfill that portion of your placement test requirement. Make sure your official transcripts are sent to 麻豆视频 for evaluation. An unofficial transcript may be used for initial placement.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

If you choose to apply for financial aid you'll want to start the process as soon as possible. The first step in receiving any aid is completing the online . Use 麻豆视频 school code: 001470 at this federal student aid site maintained by the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes Requirement

In order to receive in-state tuition, you must complete and submit the Florida Residency Declaration for Tuition Purposes with supporting documentation prior to 5 PM on the last day of add/drop for the term in which Florida residency is requested. (Click here for Important Term Dates) To receive in-state tuition rates the state of Florida requires supporting documentation that is current and at least 12 consecutive months old or older. Click here to view and download the required Florida Residency Form, which includes the residency requirements and acceptable documents that must be submitted. The Florida Residency Form and copies of the acceptable documents will be accepted in the Student Document Dropbox in your my麻豆视频 Student Portal.

Initial Advising

Navigate iconFirst time in college students are required to meet with an academic advisor to develop a personalized academic plan. To schedule your appointment, , then check the Student Services Appointment section for your advisor's name and instructions on making an appointment.

If you are directed to use the Navigate system, you will click on the Navigate - Student Resources icon and use the Appointments link inside Navigate to schedule a session with your advisor. On a mobile device, the appointments option is in Navigate's pop-out menu.

Walk-ins are welcome at the 麻豆视频 Advising Offices and you can email Advising at advising@easternflorida.edu if you have a question that can be answered via email.

Bachelor Degree students are also required to schedule an initial bachelor's advising appointment before they can register for courses for their first semester.

Orientation Requirement

Orientation at 麻豆视频 is designed to familiarize new students with the processes, policies and services that are critical to success. 麻豆视频's general orientation is required in addition to any separate orientation that may be related to limited access programs such as health sciences, nursing or public safety.

Dual Enrolled high school students must complete orientation through a separate Dual Enrollment Orientation to meet the DE orientation requirement.

Career Planning Assistance

Course Registration and Payment Process

Once admission holds have been cleared, you can register for courses. Registering online is the fastest, easiest way to register for classes, but your advisor can also help you with the process if needed. If your Message Center in the my麻豆视频 Portal indicates you have a hold that prevents registration, you can explore what the hold means and how to clear it on our Registration Holds web page.

Student Identification Card and Parking Decal

Your free 麻豆视频 Student Photo Identification Card and/or badge also serves as an 麻豆视频 Library Card and can be picked up at a campus security office. Currently, the security offices can process ID badges Monday - Thursday from 8 AM to 8 PM. An ID-card sticker is available that allows 麻豆视频 students to ride the local SCAT bus system at no charge. Student Parking Decals are required to park in 麻豆视频 Campus lots at a cost of $40 per year, plus tax. Click here for the parking decal process.

Using the Student Document Dropbox

The Student Document Dropbox found inside the my麻豆视频 Portal can be used for only certain documents so be sure to check the guidelines for each area above before submitting.

  1. Scan or upload your document to your computer.
  2. with your Titan Student Email Address and Password (The portal link is also available in the 麻豆视频 Logins link on any webpage)
  3. Once on the my麻豆视频 Student Page find the graphic labeled 鈥淪tudent Document Dropbox鈥
  4. Click 鈥淐hoose File鈥 and this will prompt a window to access the file location on your computer.
  5. Navigate to the file, select it and click open.
  6. You should now see the file name extension next to the 鈥淐hoose File鈥 button.
  7. Under 鈥淪end To:鈥 click the drop down arrow for 鈥---Select Office---鈥 and choose 鈥淎dmissions" (Note: If your document is for a different department, choose that department from the drop down menu. For Financial Aid documents, use the "Financial Aid Forms & Upload Tool" found in the my麻豆视频 Portal below the Document Dropbox section.)
  8. Click upload and your file is sent to the Admissions Department for review.

You can track the status of your file in the 鈥淪tudent Document Dropbox鈥 section as well. Listed by the name of the document is the department where the file was sent to, and the particular status such as 鈥淪ee Comment鈥, 鈥淎ction Required鈥 and 鈥淲orking On鈥.  If 麻豆视频 needs you to take additional action, then you will see a large 鈥渋鈥 that you can hover over to see comments.

Scanning Documents to PDF Format From Your Phone

1. Open a Note in Apple's Notes app or create a new note.
2. Tap Apple Camera, then tap Scan Documents.
3. Place your document in view of the camera on your device.
4. If your device is in Auto mode, your document will be automatically scanned. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap Apple Home or one of the Volume buttons.
5. Drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.
6. You can add additional scans to the document or tap Save when you're done.

2. In the bottom right, tap Add .
3. Tap Scan Android Camera
4. Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan.

5. To save the finished document, tap Done Android Done
