A student who intends to attend 麻豆视频 as a full-time student* can apply for on-campus housing before or after they are accepted.
To be eligible to occupy a room at any time, students must remain in "good standing" by meeting all of the following requirements:
- Be in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA at the end of each term),
- Have no unpaid financial obligations owing to 麻豆视频,
- Not be suspended (even temporarily) or expelled, and
- Not be subject to any active College trespass notice.
*Full-time students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during both the Fall and Spring Terms. Exceptions to the minimum credit hour requirement may be authorized by the College V.P. for External Affairs (or their designee).
Yes. 麻豆视频 offers three housing options, including options for just the Fall and Spring Terms.
Students who commit to two major terms (Fall and Spring) have first preference for the optional summer term. Fall-only or Spring-only contracts are available on a space available basis after full academic year residents have been placed.
Visit the payment options page for full details.
Florida law (F.S. 搂1006.69) requires all students who attend a Florida college and reside on-campus to receive both the meningitis and hepatitis B vaccines, or to submit a waiver stating that they have made an informed decision not to be vaccinated (if the student is under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver).
During the online application for housing you are required to upload your proof of vaccination (so have those ready in a digital format) or execute the waiver process within the application.
Yes you do have to sign a contract and if a student is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.
If a student is offered a housing assignment, that offer will be sent via email to the student's official 麻豆视频 email address, which will include the proposed contract along with instructions for how to pay the required $360 deposit. That deposit must be paid and the contract must be signed and returned to the 麻豆视频 Housing Office in order to officially accept a room assignment. The deposit is refundable based on the conditions specified in the housing contract.
You also will have the opportunity to review the contract during the online application process.
Students who sign a contact covering two major terms (such as Fall and Spring) have first preference for the optional summer term during that same academic year. Fall-only or Spring-only housing contracts are available on a space available basis after full academic year residents have been placed.
Applicants will be notified via their student email if they are offered a room or offered a spot on the waitlist. Check your Titan student email frequently after submitting the online application.
The email will include the proposed contract along with instructions for how to pay the required $360 deposit. That deposit must be paid and the contract must be signed and returned to the 麻豆视频 Housing Office in order to officially accept a room assignment. The deposit is refundable based on the conditions specified in the housing contract.
At the time the housing contract is signed, the student (or if student is under 18 years of age, the student鈥檚 parent or legal guardian) must select a payment option. The required payments are then posted to the student's 麻豆视频 account inside the my麻豆视频 Student Portal. These are payable through the same online payment system used to pay other charges, such as tuition.
The College does not offer meal plans; however, 麻豆视频 does have food vendors, located in the Melbourne campus student union that offer cost effective meals during the school year. Please visit the Food Service page, choose the Melbourne campus, and view the menus provided.
Roommates are matched based on the lifestyle and living preference the applicant submits as part of their application.
The application form also includes the ability for students to list specific roommate requests by name in the special requests question at the end of the roommate section and the requested person should do the same.
Roommate requests are not guaranteed.
Each student is provided a copy of the Student Housing Living Guide, prepared under the direction of the 麻豆视频 Student Housing Corporation. The Guide can also be viewed online. During the term that a student who lives in on-campus housing is graduating, accommodations
can be made to move out on the day following Commencement, provided the student turns
in proof they have RSVPed for a Commencement Ceremony and plan to walk in the ceremony.
Coordinate this exception through the Student Housing Office once the online system
for choosing a Commencement Ceremony time has opened.
