Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ regularly holds contests and drawings to give current students a chance to win prizes. Explore the list in the accordion below for eligibility requirements, deadlines, how to enter, and more information about each promotion.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ employees or students planning a college-sponsored promotion should review the process and submit a request to add rules to this page. Please note that requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the promotion.
Current Promotion Topics and Rules
Eligibility
The Growing with the Arts Community Art Show (the "Contest") is open to all currently legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Employees (including student employees) of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on 03/03/2025 at 11:00 AM ET and ends on 04/30/2025 at 09:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, eligible individuals should do the following during the Contest Period:
Interested persons must submit their original artwork to the Titusville Campus Library
front desk (Bldg. 5) during normal operating hours, Mondays through Thursdays, between
8 AM and 5 PM before the Tuesday, April 22, 2025 deadline. This annual art show is
open to all Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students, faculty, staff, and Brevard County Residents.
Children's Artwork - please mount all artwork onto a foam, matte, or poster board prior to dropping it
off. Artwork must not exceed ten pounds in weight.
Adult Artwork - all artwork must be display-ready. For two-dimensional pieces ensure that it is framed,
wired or matted. Artwork must not exceed ten pounds in weight.
Categories/Mediums - drawings, paintings, sculptures, photography, mixed media, and digital art.
Each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize throughout the duration of the Contest, regardless of method of entry. Data pertaining to all entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Winner Selection
On 04/30/2025 at 09:00 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Originality and Mastery of the medium used) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Titusville Campus, Bldg. 5, Library. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 04/30/2025. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Any prize having a total announced value of $5,000 or more must be offered in strict compliance with §849.094, Florida Statutes.
Prize(s)
Each eligible winner will receive one prize from among the following:
- All children's submissions will receive a ribbon.
- Adult Submissions: the top three in each category/medium will receive a ribbon.
Prize retail value may differ at the time of award. The specifics of the prize(s), which is/are funded by the Campus Libraries, will be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution(s) will be permitted, except at the Sponsor's discretion. All prizes are non-transferable and subject to income tax. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation, any and all federal, state, and/or local income taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any winner of a prize valued in excess of $600 at the time of award must provide their social security number, EIN, or TIN to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and shall receive an IRS Form 1099. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use a winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
All prizes not picked up at the time of award must be picked up in Titusville Campus, Bldg. 5, Rm. Library (1311 North U.S. 1, Titusville, FL 32796) within ten (10) days of the time of award notification.

Participation in the Contest further constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these official rules including all additional terms and conditions.
Eligibility
The CRU Club Easter Egg Hunt (the "Drawing") is open to currently enrolled Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees (including student employees) of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Drawing and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Drawing Period
The Drawing begins on 04/15/2025 at 11:00 AM ET and ends on 04/15/2025 at 02:00 PM ET (the "Drawing Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Drawing Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Drawing, eligible students should do the following during the Drawing Period:
Attend the Easter Egg Hunt taking place on the Melbourne Campus outside of the Student Union (Bldg. 16). Some eggs will contain a ticket that can then be exchanged for a larger pre-determined prize. There will be a hunt at 11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM. Alternatively, students can email Dr. Holly Wendel between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM on April 15, 2025, to reserve one (1) egg from the event and claim its prize.
Alternative Method of Entry:
Eligible students may email Dr. Holly Wendel from their Titan student email accounts during the Drawing Period to indicate that they wish to be included in the Drawing.

Winner Selection
On 04/15/2025 at 02:00 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) at random from among all eligible entries in the following location: Melbourne Campus, Bldg. 16, Quad. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 04/15/2025. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Any prize having a total announced value of $5,000 or more must be offered in strict compliance with §849.094, Florida Statutes.

Prizes are considered random and based on the egg that students pick up. The following items can be won: Mini adult coloring books (4), Keychains (7), Hat (1) Beach Mats (2), CRU sweatshirts (2), CRU water bottles (2), Tortilla Blanket (1), T-shirts (2), Inspirational jar (1), beach balls (2). Small and large candies/candy bars will also be available.

Employees (including student employees) of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on 03/03/2025 at 12:00 AM ET and ends on 04/23/2025 at 09:30 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, eligible students should do the following during the Contest Period:

On 04/23/2025 at 08:30 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Five random student judges will rank each poem 1 - 10, with 10 being the highest, based on content, poetic elements, and delivery (projection and enthusiasm) the total of these points will determine the winners.) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Palm Bay Campus, Bldg. 1, Rm. 107 (Auditorium). The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 04/23/2025. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Any prize having a total announced value of $5,000 or more must be offered in strict compliance with §849.094, Florida Statutes.

The Melbourne Campus Beach Volleyball Tournament (the "Contest") is open to currently enrolled Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Employees (including student employees) of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on 03/12/2025 at 08:00 AM ET and ends on 04/26/2025 at 03:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, eligible students should do the following during the Contest Period:

While we will do our best to pair solo players, we cannot guarantee a partner will be available. Digital sign-ups close on Sunday, April 20, 2025, but day-of sign-ups will still be eligible to play based on space availability.
Students can also sign up online by emailing the Melbourne Campus Office of Student Life.
All participants must fill out Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s liability waiver form (PDF) before competing. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form. Waivers will also be available at the event for signing.
New to beach volleyball? Games are played on a sand court in teams of two. Points
are scored when the opposing team fails to return the ball, commits a fault, or hits
the ball out of bounds. Matches will be played to 15 points, with teams needing to
win by at least two points. provided by USA Volleyball.

If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries.
