The Peabody Award-winning documentary "How to Dance in Ohio" will be shown on Tuesday, November 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Cocoa Campus Simpkins Fine Arts Center and will include a question and answer session with the clinical psychologist featured in the film.

The Cocoa Campus is located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, Florida 32922. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Entertaining, funny and heartbreaking, 鈥淗ow to Dance in Ohio鈥 is the story of a group of young people on the autism spectrum who spend 12 weeks confronting and practicing their social skills as they prepare for an iconic event 鈥 a spring formal dance.

The film is about the human need to connect and belong and challenges viewers to question the definition of what it means to be 鈥渘ormal.鈥

Dr. Emilio M. Amigo is a Clinical Psychologist and founder of Amigo Family Counseling in Columbus, Ohio where he specializes in working with individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Dr. Amigo, his clinical staff, and his ASD clients were the subjects of the film and he will discuss that experience with the Simpkins Center audience after the screening.
