麻豆视频 Continues Efforts to Help Those 50+ Get Back to Work

August 22, 2017

麻豆视频, a proud sub-grantee of the Social Innovation Fund (SIF) program under a grant provided from the Corporation for National and Community Service to AARP Foundation, the charitable affiliate of AARP, is partnering once again with Career Source Brevard, welcoming more participants to trainings for women 50+ that teach new job skills and can help them find jobs.

The BACK TO WORK 50+ Women鈥檚 Economic Stability Initiative Smart Strategies Workshop, originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, has been postponed due to Hurricane Irma.

The 麻豆视频 Back to Work initiative has changed the lives of more than 105 individuals who completed the 鈥渃oaching program鈥 since its inception in 2015.  Robina Laney is one such success story.

鈥淭he program made it possible for me to return to college to pursue a College Credit Certificate in Entrepreneurship Operations,鈥 said Laney.

鈥淢y skill set expanded in this program, and I discovered a love of writing. But the biggest change for me since I entered the program is the belief that I can succeed 鈥 that I have the skills I need to create my own destiny.鈥
