Â鶹ÊÓƵ Launches April 2 5K Race

Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Titusville Campus Office of Student Life is planning the Step Up for Autism 5K Race with an eye toward helping students with special needs achieve their dreams of a college education.

The race will be held on World Autism Day, Saturday, April 2 at 8 a.m. at the Chain of Lakes, 2300 Truman Scarborough Way in Titusville. A Kiddie Run will be held at 9 a.m.

The race is being managed by Space Coast Event Management & Timing and supported by the Space Coast Runners Club.

Sponsorships are available.

Proceeds from the event will create a scholarship to benefit Â鶹ÊÓƵ students with special needs participating in the Student Access for Improved Learning (SAIL) Program.

Registration is $23 through March 18; $28 after that date until March 31; and $30 on April 1 and 2. Registration includes a special event t-shirt, but is not guaranteed with late registration.
